The Atlanta ASDFED Chapter would like to invite you to attend their upcoming meeting. The meetings are open to the general public.
Topic: Compromising the Network in 2012
Highly targeted social engineering attacks are the vector of choice for adaptive persistent adversaries as an undetected entry point to company networks. The ultimate goal for these hackers is to access highly sensitive and valuable intellectual property. The list of major companies that have fallen victim to spear phishing, advance persistent threats (APTs) and other high-profile attacks continues to grow.
How would you know if your company has already fallen victim to a social engineering attack? What do you need to do to address these latest threats?
James Brooks, a seasoned cyber security professional with Dell SecureWorks, will show you how standard processes, employee education, cyber intelligence, and innovative security technologies can help protect your organization.
Attendees will learn the following:
- The ways your networks are most likely to be compromised
- Techniques for educating employees on cyber security
- Cutting-edge approaches to detecting and combatting social engineering threats
- Cyber Intelligence for enterprise security
