Phillip Mahan, information security and privacy expert, will speak on:

Privacy's Role in Investigations

During investigations, investigators acquire data based on specific criteria. The privacy professional ensures that data is used properly by the business. Creating a bridge between those two roles can be challenging -- but not difficult if you know the right formula. Using the Generally Accepted Privacy Principles from the AICPA and the DOJ’s Digital Forensic Analysis Methodology, mixed with some Chaos Theory and Brain Lateralization, Phillip will stir up the right ingredients to create a formula that will ensure you can successfully tread the fine line between privacy and the need for investigations and security.
